Project Overview:

As we move into a post-gorpcore era, consumers preferences are shifting from mainstream outdoor clothing to clothing with functionality and a purpose. I wanted to remind consumers of this through a new campaign by popular outdoor brand Columbia.

Project Approach:

How can outdoor brand Columbia shift their approach to show that functionality remains at the core of outdoor clothing, appealing to consumers who are aware of products that serve a greater purpose? 

Project Result:

  • A brand new campaign by Columbia

  • An accompanying photoshoot to feature in the campaign & outdoor magazine

Project Reflection:

  • I enjoyed creating my first passion project as it allowed me to take my own initiative and set my own brief

  • If I had more time I would create more outcomes and promote the campaign through other platforms.
